What is the difference between a daily log and a work order?
Work Orders are meant to track one or many job descriptions and the the job costing activities (Labor, Contractors, Parts Materials and Equipment) specific to a single asset or equipment record.
The Daily Log is meant to track the job costing activities for one job activity. Multiple daily logs can be made throughout the course of the day but each one is specific to a single job code or work description. The Daily Log can be used to update work Orders.
